City to Surf
The CoolRunning Cheer Squad consisting of myself, Johnny Dark and Superflake assembled just up from the Nth Bondi Surf Club.
Soon after the lead runners, the two Tanzanians and Monas were chasing down Supported CoolRunner Martin Dent. It was great to see the elite athletes fly past effortlessly. It was a perfect example of "running quietly" as Podrunner puts it. Soon after the masses thumped down the hill. I now understand Andy. Don't know how to do it, but at least I understand.
Great to catch up with many Coolrunners, Bloggers and Striders.

A vampire bat came flapping in from the night covered in fresh blood and parked himself on the roof of the cave to get some sleep.
Pretty soon all the other bats smelled the blood and began hassling him about where he got it.
He told them to go away and let him get some sleep but they persisted until finally he gave in.
"OK, follow me" he said and flew out of the cave with hundreds of bats behind him.
Down through the valley they went, across a river and into a forest full of trees.
Finally he slowed down and all the other bats excitedly milled around him.
"Now, do you see that tree over there?" he asked.
"Yes, Yes, Yes!" the bats all screamed in a frenzy.
"Good" said the bat, "Because I sure as hell didn't!"

Great to see you out and about Gronk. Loved your cheering mate. Great to see. Also great that you managed to run 10km yesterday as well.
Thanks for the cheer when I went past - certainly helped for that very long last km! Sorry I didn't catch up with you afterwards.
Thanks for the cheer Gronk. Gave me a boost to get up Campbell Parade that was much needed at that point. See you soon.
