Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
Yeah what a load of crap that title is. I hate it when I'm not running.
Three days until Canberra Marathon and I'm still not running. Seventeen days until Bondi Barefoot and I've got no chance.
A month away from SMH and I'll struggle to get around I reckon. Oh well enough winging for today.
On the bright side my non-running has been due to my mega ear infection (now cleared up thanks for asking) and the bird flu which has had me coughing and sputtering for the past 10 days. So whilst I've been sniffling about, I have been walking niggle free ! All good. The hip and assorted other bits feel OK.
Goals ? I don't care about races anymore. I just want to run for a reasonable period of time without getting injured again. I think I'll have a run on Sunday, which will no doubt improve my mood. ;-)
I understand the frustration Gronk. I think your approach is a good one; just enjoy your running for a while.
great to hear you are niggle-free! Sorry to hear about the ear infection and man-cold. I hope it clears up soon.
Good idea Gronk. Think I'll do the same after Canberra, just run for fun for a while.
All my sympathies Gronkman. Some time you just have to roll with the punches and be pleased with what you can do.
Ear infections and the bird flu stinks though!
Enjoy the school holidays and spending some time with your family.
